I can see where you were trying to go with this photo, but the technique could use a lot of work. The most obvious problem with this photo is the blur. It makes it so hard to appreciate the rest of the photo which could actually be pretty good. If you had changed your angle so that you were shooting from the cats side, the motion blur may have looked good there, but it doesn't look that great in this situation. I do like the colors, and in particular the green of the background. It matches the cat's eyes to a t, and that would really make a good photo.

Another minor issue is the overall originality. Cat photos, and especially head on cat photos are so overdone that unless you can take the most visually stunning image of a cat, you should try to take more unique photos.

Overall its an ok photo with some real potential! Keep at it!
